Advisory Board. This body consists of academic and industry professionals who organized and/or participated in SECCDC 2006. The Advisory Board's primary role is to guide policy decisions pertaining to SECCDC 2007. Current board members include:

Gold Team. This team is responsible for:
- designing business scenarios for the competition
- controlling the flow and timing of events
- injects during competition
- defining the rules of scoring.
- providing direction and/or supervision of the White Team and the Operation Teams
Members of the gold team must uphold the integrity of the competition. Gold team members cannot advise student teams and cannot pass any information to teams that may afford any team with competitive advantage. Gold team members include:

White Team. This is the team of judges. A judge will be assigned to each team of students. The judge is responsible for providing business injects (scenarios), ensuring the team complies with all competition rules, and evaluating the team's performance.
Red Team. The Red teams will conduct periodic probes, scans, and attempted penetrations of the academic teams.
